The Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created at the direction of the Texas Legislature. TSAHC offers down payment assistance to help make homeownership more affordable, loans and land banking programs to help developers build more affordable housing, and training and grant programs to support nonprofits that help families maintain their financial stability.

Through its Texas Foundations Fund program, the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) partners with nonprofit organizations across Texas to assist very low-income households.

Applications for the 2026 annual grant cycle will be accepted on a rolling basis for as long as funding is available. The deadline to submit an application for the 2026 Texas Foundations Fund is August 1, 2026 at 5:00pm CDT.

**Please note: Once TSAHC has received enough applications to potentially exhaust all of the annual grant funds for 2026, the online application portal will close. If additional funds become available, the online application will be re-opened.
