TSAHC has partnered with the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) to launch the Texas Supportive Housing Institute to provide technical assistance to developers, service providers and property managers interested in creating and operating supportive housing in their communities.
The Texas Supportive Housing Institute provides a forum for effective team building among project managers, direct service providers, and property management staff. Teams will receive information, resources and tools to create successful permanent supportive housing projects, to move people out of long-term homelessness, and to help formerly homeless tenants remain stably housed.
Participants will be working in teams. Please submit one application per development but provide contact information for each member of your development team.
Up to six teams will be selected. Preference will be given to teams that consist of all relevant partners, including a supportive service provider partner, housing developer/owner partner, and property management partner.
However, we encourage all teams to apply even if the team is not yet fully assembled. If the applicant has not yet identified all team members, TSAHC will work with the applicant to identify these partners as soon as possible as teams must be complete prior to the first training session in September.
The priority markets for this institute round are Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties.
Application deadline is July 17, 2026. Applicants will be notified of selection by August 7, 2026.
