Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation

Texas Foundations Fund: Disaster Recovery
Opens Sep 2 2025 08:00 AM (CDT)
Deadline Jul 31 2026 05:00 PM (CDT)
Description

From its inception, the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation has been there to support Texans' path to housing stability. When an unexpected disaster hits, it's vital that low-income Texans are included in recovery plans.

For this reason, TSAHC will be offering grants to eligible organizations providing housing assistance activities in response to disaster. Grant awards will be made for the critical repair of single-family homes located in any one or more counties affected by weather-related natural disasters. The disaster must be declared as such on or after June 1, 2025 by a Federal Emergency Management Agency disaster declaration, a Texas Disaster Declaration, and/or a local city or county disaster declaration.

For program guidelines and additional information, visit our website: https://www.tsahc.org/nonprofits-local-governments/disaster-recovery-grants

Please note: Organizations that have not worked with TSAHC through our Texas Foundations Fund or HEART program will be required to submit documents in addition to the online application form in order to meet the same financial screening criteria as current and former grantees.

Applicants agree that this Application and all materials submitted to TSAHC constitute public records of TSAHC subject to Tex. Gov’t Code, Chapter 552. Any person submitting this application acknowledges that TSAHC has the authority to release all materials for publication on TSAHC's website and release them in response to a request for public information and make other use of the information as authorized by law.
